We are a group of people dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe and its surrounding geography. We reside in the "Midrealm", a principality in the United States. It's ranks hold some of the most unique artisans found in the knowne world! That's not to say we don't let our hair down and have fun- quite the contrary! Most of us are lifelong friends who share similar interests outside of the Society, and new folk are joining the dream all the time! See, near the turn of the century, one of the founding elders decided to travel westward to find yet more fortune and glory. Upon arrival at the great inland sea, he decided to call those western lands his home. In a short time, he found the populace weary and desperate for hope. It had been many years since he took up the sword, but days spent looking out over his lands made him long for the sounds of battle and moreso- a periodic retrace of his footsteps along the silk road. |
